I noticed that there's no hibernate-entitymanager in root.pom.xml. Is that expected? I guess most seam apps don't directly use it directly, because they use the application server's injected entityManager. But if the JPA/tomcat example doesn't need embedded jboss (see my other post), then I think it would need hibernate-entitymanager.
Yes, of course you are right. I've added it also as an optional runtime dep of jboss-seam.jar as this seems most appropriate.
