1. Re: Jboss server crach while retrieving blob data from oracl
jfclere Feb 12, 2007 9:21 AM (in response to bram_19277)oci is not supported (compiled with --with-oci8=no).
The syntax:
$query = "SELECT * FROM \"testing_blob\" WHERE \"file_id\" = '1";
Missing ' I think.
You should get:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function ociparse() in ...
Look in the hs_err_pid1704.log it should show where the error is located. -

3. Re: Jboss server crach while retrieving blob data from oracl
jfclere Feb 13, 2007 5:48 AM (in response to bram_19277)oci8 is not supported in jbossweb you have to use ODBC instead (Oracle supports ODBC).
ODBC allows you to use any database.
If you want to use oci8 with jbossweb you could try building the package.
The building tools are in svn at http://svn.jboss.org/repos/jbossreflex/trunk/php
just replace in buildphp.sh:
--with-oci8=no \
--with-pdo-oci=no \
by
--with-oci8=$ORACLE_OCI8_DIR \
--with-pdo-oci=$ORACLE_OCI8_DIR \
or
--with-oci8 \
--with-pdo-oci \
If oci8 is install in its default location.
