1. Re: Accessing files stored in other mounted server location
peterj Sep 9, 2008 5:51 PM (in response to jbossfreak)If I understand your question (I am making an assumption about the term "remotely mounted"), you have some static data (images) that are located in some location other than your WAR file and you would like to be able to reference those images in 'img' tags in your web pages.
If so, see http://wiki.jboss.org/wiki/ExternalDirectories
The fact that the images are located on another machine and that you "mounted" the remote disk to your local machine, while helpful to know, does not change the solution. -
2. Re: Accessing files stored in other mounted server location
jbossfreak Sep 9, 2008 6:01 PM (in response to jbossfreak)Thanks for your reply Peter. I have a server jboss installed on a server ServerA and a war deployed under that namely 'ImageInvoker.war' inside my default/deploy folder. I have different images stored on ServerB under /home/Images which is remotely mounted with ServerA. Now i want to access these files from ServerA using the jboss context i.e.
http://<ServerA_ip>:/ImageInvoker/Images/img01.jpg
Thanks for your help once again. -

jbossfreak Sep 15, 2008 1:41 PM (in response to jbossfreak)Hi Peter,
Well thank you very much for your reply. I tried the link provided by you and it worked. This is what i wanted, thanks a lot. But right now i am providing the mounted file path in the server.xml file. Is there any way that i can create a new context for a mounted path in the war that i have deployed? -
