peterj Feb 10, 2009 11:23 AM (in response to lmajano)I saw your post but I have no idea what SES is, and I don't use Resin. And the servlet mappings you are attempting goes beyond what I have tried. Sorry I can't help.
Does this servlet mapping work in Tomcat?
My only suggestion would be to compare the servlet mapping handling code in JBoss Web/Tomcat with that in Resin, and perhaps open a JIRA with a patch. -
3. Re: servlet-mapping for SES links fails: *.jsp/*
lmajano Feb 10, 2009 1:10 PM (in response to lmajano)SES = Search Engine Safe URL's or pretty urls. Basically how mod_rewrite works but sending them through a front controller page, example: index.cfm/page/2
Then my index.cfm page would detect the page/2 in the cgi path_info and translate it to a variable page=2.
I believe this servlet mapping does NOT work on Tomcat either. As for my tests, this works in Resin and JRun. -
4. Re: servlet-mapping for SES links fails: *.jsp/*
peterj Feb 10, 2009 2:55 PM (in response to lmajano)And since JBoss AS uses JBoss Web as its servlet container and JBoss Web is a variation of Tomcat, it would appear that your option is what I suggested about a patch and JIRA.
