I am using JBoss Portlal 2.6.5- SP1. I have already developed 3 JSF portlets those accessing Database and they all access the same database connection. Each individual portlets work independently..i.e. if a single portlet is deployed than it shows the desired result but when two or more portlets are deployed than the server runs out of memory..PermGen Space error occurs.
And even if single portlet is deployed and run it runs for the first try..ie. when multiple access is done to the same url than it again shows errors..
So my Managers decided to go for EJB 3.0 to set a single connection pool for the database and each individual portlets receiving the result from EJB.
So dear all, please tell me that will it be feasible to go for EJB in order to access database by the portlets..
Please tell me in terms of time and cost..
