Using SOAP/HTTP transport with ESB 4.0GA ?

Hi folks.
How difficult would it be, using ESB 4.0GA, to develop a gateway to support the SOAP protocol ? I have a client that is strongly pushing for ESB and web services, but they want a stable release of the ESB.

Well, if you were feeling up to the challenge, you may be able to backport the webservices support being added for 4.2GA. Off hand, I can't tell you what sort of difficulties you might run into.
