Where to Start ?

I want to understand the entire Jboss ESB application and the way it works ? I guess in order to understand that the best wy is to go through the code. From where do i start ?

If you havn't already look at the quickstart which are often att good place to start.

I meant that i want to know how the code works and which class is called for performing a certain action.I have already gone through quickstarts
and tried out a couple of examples too.

Start with the ActionProcessingPipeline to understand how the core engine works. Then go through the action classes individually.

The most interesting actions (in my opinion) are the transformation/jBPM/drools based ones.

Which class contains the logic for autogenerating the jbossesb-listener.xml
and jbossesb-gateway.xml ? Why is that autogenerated ? What all things inside refer to those files?
