    Slow startup

I am using JBoss ESB 4.2.1 on JBoss AS 4.2.1 and i noticed that when the database is not purged the startup time of JBoss AS and the deployment on JBoss ESB increases dramatically. It's x2 times longer now (after 3 days) than it used to be. Startup can last up to 8 minutes on our AIX 5.3 server (8Gbytes of RAM, 2 mono-core CPU, JVM 512 MBytes; Only JBoss ESB is installed and a simple JBoss ESB archive is deployed).

Note that all the JMS/JBoss ESB and jUDDI registry tables are in an Oracle 10G database.
The server seems to hang on juddi auth/token generation according to the logs :

WorkThread 2008-06-27 10:47:02,790 INFO [org.apache.juddi.datastore.jdbc.JDBCDataStore] Generated token 'authToken:FE935B30-442D-11DD-B04E-E5115D91666B' for user: 'jbossesb/JBoss ESB User'

The Auth_Token table only has 360 rows. Our JMS_MESSAGES and MESSAGE tables are empty.

What could take so long ? I need help. Thanks.
