Using Attachments

Hello,

We need to send attachments with the ESB messages. However, the documents recommends not to use attachments. Is the attachments functionality going to be changed grately in future? Is it not safe to use attachments?

The ESB 5.0 work will handle attachments better than in 4.x. The reason we suggest not using the attachments API is simply that it doesn't give you much benefit over using the Message Body in the current implementation. You can use it though, if you want.
