    FTP Password Security

Is there a built-in solution to prevent having to keep clear-text passwords in the jboss-esb.xml file for FTP gateways? Right now, what we've done is written our own composer in which we decrypt and replace the password that is present on the URL string in the listener config tree prior to creating the FtpEPR. This seems clumsy, so I'm hoping for a more insightful solution.

Please, no comments about the thin veil of security this provides. It's a customer requirement, not an in-house design choice. I imagine that ROT13 would satisfy the requirement, just as long as the original password was not in clear-text on the disk.
