Is there a way to avoid persisting records produced by the DataFiler ?
You should be able to stop this by stopping the 'DataFilerScheduler' in the jmx-console. If you don't want to stop it completely you can increase the interval ('PollMinuteFrequency').

How to increase?
I have set the PollMinuteFrequency attributes of the DataFilerScheduler
MBean to 10000 and even stop the DataFilerScheduler. But all this doesnt help. The message are beeing written to the database .
Acutally i would like to stop this recording into the database.
By the way for what is this data good for?
Thank you for your help

clewis May 18, 2009 2:02 PM (in response to kaba)Hi,
Has anyone come up with a solution for this? We're experiencing the same problem, I left my development server up over the weekend and this morning there were 51 million records in the JMXDATA table. We have no idea how to turn this off or slow it down, PollMinuteFrequency has no effect.
thanks,
