1. Re: Roadmap for JBossAS integration
kconner Aug 3, 2006 3:39 AM (in response to swch)What information are you after? It is already possible to embed the JBossTS into 4.0.3SP1.
The current plans are to keep the in memory transaction manager as the default for the AS4 stream, with JBossTS as an option, and to have the JBossTS JTA transaction manager as the default for AS5. -

Thank you for your response Kevin. I know about JBossTS and 4.0.3SP1 and it works just fine. I was interesed in a GA release of AS with JBossTS as default transaction manager and all other features from specs (EJB3, JMS etc) mainly because of other bug fixes for version 4.0.3SP1.
Do you know when AS5 will be available in beta or GA?
Thank you,

3. Re: Roadmap for JBossAS integration
kconner Aug 3, 2006 5:50 AM (in response to swch)I'm not sure what the current plans are for the AS5 release, sorry.
As for AS4, we are intending to qualify against 4.0.4 and integrate JBossTS into the AS4 installer. The dates have still to be agreed for these tasks. -

moisesjboss Aug 5, 2006 1:51 AM (in response to swch)Can I use 4.0.4 with JBossTS and EJB3? What problems would I encounter or what is not working?
Thank you,
