Can you use JBoss Transactions with standalone hibernate?

Hi,

I have been reading about JBoss Transactions for the first time today. Currently, we use a homegrown session and transaction management based off of HibernateUtils. Would it be possible to plug this into standalone hibernate as the transaction manager? How would we configure this?
