Deploying JBoss Cache to JBoss AS

Hi,

I know many of you are flinching at the sight of this topic but forgive me i'm new at this.

I'm running JBoss AS 4.2.2 and am looking to deploy a distributed cache to the AS using JBoss Cache Core 3.2.1GA. I'm usong grid gain and have gotten the distributed cache working on a local project by making use of a singleton. Now to take the project forward it would be ideal if the cache could be deployed to the AS.

I have read the various manuals on this topic but i've gotten nowhere with them. I was just wondering if anybody has any suggestions or some useful advice

I think this only tests the web layer, though. Even so, if you don't have any clustering enabled at EJB layer (SFSB clustering e.g.) then I think this should work.
