Hi Manik,
I have a few issues testing your latest modifications:
- I tried to compile infinispan from the trunk but the compilation failed because the compiler cannot resolve package com.sun.tools.javac.code in CacheLoaderManagerImpl.java.
- I tried to test with the latest SNAPSHOT that you uploaded in Maven repository but the latest SNAPSHOT (infinispan-core-4.0.0-20100127.101644-27.jar) doesn't include the CACHE_MODE_LOCAL flags.
I will try to find the package com.sun.tools.javac.code to generate infinispan from Subversion.

Whoops that com.sun stuff was an unused import that snuck in. Refresh from SVN and you should be able to build OK.

I'm happy to report that everything works properly from the latest revision of Subversion.
- Fetch in memory state works;
- Fetch persistent state works;
- Pre-load of the file store works;
- Pre-load phase happens effectively after the fetch persistent state.
