EE 6/3.3.3 BETA1 and Validator support

Hey guys

So I'm attempting to work with 3.3.3.BETA1 in a JSF 2/EE 6 environment. The one thing that keeps getting me is that validations don't work. The main reason is that GF V3 can't seem to resolve the JSF 2 libraries even though they should be there.

Is this in fact not supposed to work?

consider please the fact that you still have to add rich:beanValidator or f:validator pointed to BeanValidator in order to get it working. As VDL not supported in 3.3.3 - it will not works automatically as it should.

hmmm so validations are tied into VDL? Seems a bit odd but ok. It will still work though if I use the EE 6 Validator rather than working directly with hibernate validator, right (even though I know they are one and the same)
