    Code formatting conventions

    Dan Allen Master

Sooner or later, the time comes when we have to discuss coding conventions. Fortunately, it appears we are already on the same page. Like Weld, Arquillian and ShrinkWrap seem to use 3 expanded spaces (Java and XML) and brackets on the next line (Java). I didn't dig deeper.

I don't really advocate one style over another. I just care that we are consistent. That means having an IDE formatting profile available somewhere. I'm starting to think that jboss.org should have at least one (additional if necessary) standard formatting profile. Then the projects can just say "go get that file" rather than copying the formatting profile into every single project.
