What happens if multiple JobExecutor instances are started agains the same database?

      Hello All,

Does anyone know what happens if multiple JBPM JobExecutor instances (running for example in two separate tomcat servers) are started at the same time against the same database? Is it safe or can it cause any concurrency problems?

I've seen the documentation of JobExecutor (http://docs.jboss.com/jbpm/v4/devguide/html_single/#jobexecutor) but it does not explain what happens if more than one JobExecutors try to access the same database simultaneously.

Could someone please explain how JBPM job executor manages concurrent database access and what happens if two jobexecutors try to acquire the same job in the same database at the same time?

      Thanks,

      Peter
