Does Jboss support deployments of jar files (created according to the Extension Mechanism Architecture)? If I'm right, the jar file can be placed in the lib directory and will be made available to other java EE deployment units, that request it according to the version matching rules described in the Optional Package Versioning specification. Are there other ways of deploying such a shared library?
