Modelling BPMN 2.0 processes with service tasks

    David Geary Newbie

Im trying to use the signavio moddeller (online trial) to export a BPMN 2.0 process with service tasks that will execute directly in JBPM 4.3 - is this possible?

Specifically I can define the service tasks and attributes, but how do i define the Interfaces, ItemDefinitions and Messages in the modeller since they are 'outside' the process? Or is it possible to have these predefined in another file and merge the two when executing?

the bpmn 2.0 service task is webservice or other, the 'other' is (ab)used by jBPM to define a java service task like there is in jPDL. It might be that the editor does not support this (yet?).

Keep in mind that this whole BPMN2.0 stuff is under development, so in many cases if things do not work fully or not as you hope it to work, it might be that it is just not developed yet.

          Cheers,
