Hello,
we're currently porting a large ejb2 application from a jboss 3.2.8 to a jboss-eap-4.2.0.GA_CP02.
We have around 180 tables in our oracle 10g database. Each db table is mapped to a corresponding ejb2 cmp entity bean.
Load tests have shown that request times are about 50% higher on a jboss 4.2 than they were on a jboss 3.2.8.
Especially create/insert operations with ejb2 cmp entity beans seem to be much slower on a jboss 4.2 than on a jboss 3.2.8.
What performance experiences do have with ejb2 entity beans between a jboss 3.2.8 and a jboss 4.2 ?
Is this a common/general problem, that ejb2 cmp entity beans are slower on a jboss 4.2 than on a jboss 3.2.8 ?
Thanx in advance!
Regards,
