sub table to be opened on rowclick

Hi!

I have a main table - and a sub - table for each row of the main table.

Currently, i use two different tables with onRowClick event that renders the bottom table.

I would like to open a sub-table inside the table itself when clicking on a row (like in talkbacks)

How can i do it?

You could add conditional rendering to subtable using rendered attribute and show it via ajax. Or just show/hide using css classes if amount of data allows to keep all subtables at client side without performance losses.

the new design makes it hard to understand where to put what.

Hi!

I guess that is will display/ not display all the subtables.

How can I define for a specific sub table to be displayed onRowClick?

as you could see I used #{iterationVar.xxx} in EL. I meant the current row object property usage. So it will works for particular subtable.
