I'm not sure I understand...
I'm not convinced this is a firewall issue - the problem exists on my development W7 machine where Tomcat server the files without problem but when viewd through IIS, the images appear to be blocked - even when the firewall is disabled.
What I don't understsand is that everything seems to be working just fine on some boxes - but others refuse to serve the images.
Am I missing some fundamental issue here?
I'm opening this up again because at present, I do not have a solution and I need to resolve in the very near future..
The issue is:
Using a4j:mediaOutput to display some images retrieved from a database.
The images display correctly when served from Tomcat directly.
The images do not display when served via IIS.
Nick has suggested checking this link: https://jira.jboss.org/jira/browse/RF-3586
I'm not convined this is the problem - if this were a problem of a corporate firewall, or filter surely the problem would be seen from both Tomcat and IIS not only when served via IIS?
Anyone - please - I'm running out of options
