normally you should not use this jar in your classpath, why do you need it ?
it's probably due to the fact that it contains an Annotation Processor (java 6) automatically triggered at compilation time, you can disable it with the proper compilation options. I will try to make it optional in GateIn by splitting the APT plugin into two modules one for compile time and one for runtime.
Thanks for your reply. No need for this jar other than the fact it's in the gatein.ear/lib directory and we use this as part of the ant build. I have done an explicit exclude for this jar as a workaround.
