Where exactly (in the war) are those jar files containing the persistence.xml?
There are two and they're in

I don't think it's currently possible to ignore such jars. I haven't tried the jboss-ignore.txt thing, so not sure whether it even works.
We am facing the same issue. we have a war to deploy and handle persistence.xml when it is needed at runtime. JBoss is complaining about it.
where to put jboss-ignore.txt in the war file and ear?I like to try it.
I tried putting it in the war file in the WEB-INF folder.
I can't remember but I probably also tried putting it in the war file root directory and in the war file war file/WEB-INF/classes directory.
It didn't work for me and I have a feeling it is not supported or implemeneted but I'd be interested in how you get on.
