    can't set width of <rich:inplaceInput> in Firefox and mouseover problem on <rich:inplaceInput>

    Joey Wu Newbie

      I am using the latest RF version 3.3.3.Final and I found that there are 2 problems :

      1) width of <rich:inplaceInput> can be set in IE but not FF (FF version 3.5.9)

      As I need to use an image instead of defaultLabel, so I change the css class of rich-inplace-view which is as follow :

      .rich-inplace-view  {
          background-image: url("../images/edit.gif");
          background-repeat: no-repeat;
          border-bottom-style: none;
          width: 15px;
      }

      This css works fine in IE but only width doesn't respond in FF. Can anyone tell me is this a bug or any solution on this issue?

      2) mouseover problem when using 3.3.3.Final

      I need to change the cursor to be a hand when mouseover is activated, and if text is input in <rich:inplaceInput>, the background image will be removed. Those source i used are as follow :

      .cursorChanged {
          cursor: pointer;
      }

      .forwarderRefText {
          background-image: none;
      }

      <rich:inplaceInput id="itemListOpen_resultList_forwardJobNo_inplaceInput" value="#{result.forwardJobNo}"
      inputWidth="100px" maxlength="10" styleClass="cursorChanged #{result.forwarderRefCss}"/>

      Those source works fine in RF version 3.3.0.GA but after I changed to the verion 3.3.3.Final, I found that after input text into <rich:inplaceInput>, the background image removed properly, but when mouseover the <rich:inplaceInput> area which is an image, it will automatically remove the image away.

      And also, it will generate a lot of style class name (repeated css class name) in the source code which is as follow :

      <SPAN class="rich-inplace rich-inplace-input rich-inplace-view cursorChanged forwarderRefIcon cursorChanged forwarderRefIcon cursorChanged
      forwarderRefIcon cursorChanged forwarderRefIcon cursorChanged forwarderRefIcon cursorChanged forwarderRefIcon cursorChanged forwarderRefIcon
      cursorChanged forwarderRefIcon cursorChanged forwarderRefIcon cursorChanged forwarderRefIcon cursorChanged forwarderRefIcon cursorChanged
      forwarderRefIcon cursorChanged forwarderRefIcon cursorChanged forwarderRefIcon cursorChanged forwarderRefIcon cursorChanged forwarderRefIcon
      cursorChanged forwarderRefIcon cursorChanged forwarderRefIcon cursorChanged forwarderRefIcon cursorChanged forwarderRefIcon cursorChanged
      forwarderRefIcon cursorChanged forwarderRefIcon cursorChanged forwarderRefIcon cursorChanged forwarderRefIcon cursorChanged forwarderRefIcon
      cursorChanged forwarderRefIcon cursorChanged forwarderRefIcon cursorChanged forwarderRefIcon cursorChanged forwarderRefIcon cursorChanged
      forwarderRefIcon cursorChanged forwarderRefIcon cursorChanged forwarderRefIcon cursorChanged forwarderRefIcon cursorChanged forwarderRefIcon
      cursorChanged forwarderRefIcon cursorChanged forwarderRefIcon"
      id="searchingForm:searchResultPage:toBeDueResultPage:itemListOpen_resultList_repeat:0:itemListOpen_resultList_allForwardJobNo_inplaceInput"
      style="ZOOM: 1">

      I don't know is it a bug or not as it works fine in 3.3.0.GA, is there any other method to fulfill my requirement?

      Thanks a lot!!
