dataTable column width

Hi all,

It seems that width attribute do not force width for column,
Im using external filtering with inputText outside dataTable,
column takes width of the widest element.
I add also width on header. it does not change..

RF 3.3.1.BETA3, myfaces 1.2.5.

rich:dataTable represents just standard html table behaviour.. if td contains the content which has larger width - it will be enlarged.

try extended table.

temporarly I put the column content inside inputTextarea..
