15. Re: HotKey Invokes Wrong Method
dolos Jul 13, 2010 11:23 AM (in response to nbelaevski)Hello Nick, Thanks for your answer.
I tried adding timing="onload" to the rich:hotkey tag, using the selector too, and it works... just the first time if I hit Enter one time, it works great, but if I do it once again, it shows just the same problem, nothing happens. I've tried too using other values to the timing attribute (onload, immediate, onregistercall) none of this worked, in fact onload was the "best". By the way, I started using Opera today and i saw that when a modal panel is closed the page keeps the shadow in the bottom, where no elements are placed, is this normal?
Thanks again for your help

nbelaevski Jul 13, 2010 5:28 PM (in response to dolos)Are you re-rendering inputs to which hotKey is bound?

What version of Opera? Can you reproduce this on livedemo?

dolos Jul 13, 2010 5:59 PM (in response to nbelaevski)Hi, rigth now I'm unable to see my source code, but i don't remember to be re-rendering the form in wich hotkey and jsFunction are bounded. I do reRender the input fields wich use the hotkey, I'm not very sure what your question was about
About Opera I'm using version 10.60 in Windows XP, I can't reproduce it in live demo, but i think this might be cause the live demo fill the complete page, so I attach 3 images where I show you what I'm seeing.

nbelaevski Jul 14, 2010 4:34 AM (in response to dolos)Ok, try re-rendering hotKey component too.
About Opera: they have a rendering problem with modal panel (just resize browser window - the problem will disappear, but component doesn't handle resize event or smth. like this). IIRC, the problem has been reported to Opera via built-in wizard for bugs reporting, however as they keep their bug tracker closed for public, no feedback has been received.

dolos Jul 14, 2010 10:40 AM (in response to nbelaevski)Re-rendering the hotkey component appears to almost solve the problem , it is now just present in Opera, but I think that should be enough for now... If anybody has a solution that works for Opera, let me know
Thanks a lot, Nick.
P.S. Is there any explication about this solution?
