I have a JBoss Seam (2.2.0.GA) app that deploys perfectly fine under AS 4.2.3.GA. I'm trying to get it deploy to 5.1.0.GA and scratching my head with deployment ClassNotFoundException errors. I've referred to various posts about making sure the application.xml and jboss-app.xml DTD references are upgraded.
So - I start with a fresh 5.1.0.GA install, I've created a new 'node1' server config copied from 'all' config. In this server I've upgraded the defaultDS and JMS configurations to point to a PostgreSQL database. This server starts up fine without my app.
Now - I try and deploy my EAR and I immediately get a random ClassNotFoundException - (it is a different class it is not finding each time I deploy - that's strange?). I've manually checked to make sure my classes do exist. My EAR is built using maven and this is my structure.
My application.xml (from pioneer-uk.ear/META-INF)
I tried mucking about directly with the ejb jar MANIFEST.MF classpath to directly add a reference to itself - and it did seem to resolve some ClassNotFoundExceptions - but then other strange class loading problems occured. I'm pretty sure I've just got the packaging wrong - but not sure where!
Help would be appreciated!!!!!
