How to maintain snapshots after a restart?

Hi all - We have a number of snapshots configured through the JBoss web console we use for tracking memory, thread use, queues, etc. Everytime we restart the server however, the snapshots are deleted and need to be recreated again. Is there any way to prevent these snaphots from being removed on JBoss restart?

How do you create those snapshots? More importantly what exactly is the snapshot?

They are created through the web-console application that is part of JBoss. xx.xx.xx.xx:8080/web-console

Open the JMX tree, right click on the component you wish to monitor, snapshot, or graph and configure. Issue is we have to do this everytime we restart the server. Wondering if there is a way to persist the snapshots between restarts.
