    Problem displaying rich:tree (did not find parent form)

    Matt Kohanek Novice

      Hey all, I have a very simple tree just to get things rolling. Here is the code:

      <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN"
       "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd">
      <html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"
       xmlns:h="http://java.sun.com/jsf/html"
       xmlns:f="http://java.sun.com/jsf/core"
       xmlns:a4j="http://richfaces.org/a4j"
       xmlns:rich="http://richfaces.org/rich">
      <head>
      <title>Project Explorer</title>
      </head>
      <f:view>
       <body>
       <rich:tree >
       <rich:treeNode >
       <h:outputText value="Project 1" />
       </rich:treeNode>
       <rich:treeNode >
       <h:outputText value="Device 1-1" />
       </rich:treeNode>
       <rich:treeNode >
       <h:outputText value="Channel 1-1-1" />
       </rich:treeNode>
       </rich:tree>
       </body>
      </f:view>
      </html>

      When I try to run this on my local server I get the following:

      org.richfaces.component.EnclosingFormRequiredException: class org.richfaces.component.html.HtmlTree (id="j_id3") did not find parent form.

      Any ideas what Im doing wrong here?
