    Oracle XA DS for JBoss 5.1

      Hi

       

      looking at the example oracle-xa-ds.xml it still says:

       

       

      <!-- ===================================================================== -->
      <!-- ATTENTION:  DO NOT FORGET TO SET Pad=true IN transaction-service.xml  -->
      <!-- ===================================================================== -->

       

      But when I look at the transaction-service.xml in say 'server/default', I cannot see any trace of the XID mbean that used to be there...

       

      So:

      1) Do we still need to set Pad=true for Oracle with JBoss 5.1?

      2) if so, could somebody post a full example of a transaction-service.xml please?

          The transaction service implementation changed about 5 years ago now (after 4.0.x). Since it happened so long ago you should be able to find sufficient information to answer your question in these forums, those of JBossTS, or on the wiki.
