    Performance problems with Infinispan connector

    Craig Ching Newbie

      Had a bit of a vacation last week (I know, shame on me!) and I'm back at working with ModeShape and Infinispan.  I've altered my test that I posted elsewhere (I can provide it again if need be) to add 10000 cars to the repository, saving the session every 100 cars.  For example:

                      for(int i = 0; i < 10000; ++i) {

                          Node car = type.addNode("car_" + i, "car:Car");

                          car.setProperty("car:maker", "Volkswagen");

                          car.setProperty("car:model", "Passat");

                          car.setProperty("car:year", "2010");

                          car.setProperty("car:msrp", "$32,000");

                           if (i % 100 == 0) {

                                System.out.println("Creating car car_" + i + ", current time: " + new SimpleDateFormat("HH:mm:ss.SSSZ").format(new Date()));

      It seems to take longer and longer for each 100 cars to be saved.  Am I doing something wrong?  What might be going on?  I'll try digging further, but would appreciate a quick review by the experts.
