Which version should I upgrade to

I am upgrading old JBoss version 4.0.3 to a newer version. Could anybody suggest which version is a better choice? (note: I used 5.1.0 but I found there is some bug for it. So I am looking if there is a higher version that is stable for application).

Depends on what you are looking for and what the bug you are running against. Last week JBoss AS 6.0 CR1 version was released and that's the latest one with Java EE6 functionality. There's a 6.0 Final release planned during December 2010.
