modifying richfaces colorpicker

Hi,

I would like to modify the richfaces colorpicker code to support a new color mode called 'Lab'.

I need to achieve the following:

1. Show the color co-ordinates as L, a, b co-ordinates instead of say RGB when selecting the color from the color region.

2. Show the select color as an LAB value in the input text field.

I would like to know which source code files I need to modify in order to achieve this result.

yup out of the box
colorMode false false javax.el.ValueExpression
(must evaluate to java.lang.String) Defines a color mode for the component input. Possible values are hex, rgb.
only possible. So check http://community.jboss.org/wiki/ContributingpatchtoRichFacesproject to see how to modify component.

Hi Joseph,

Component code is here: http://anonsvn.jboss.org/repos/richfaces/branches/community/3.3.X/ui/colorPicker/ , you should modify .js file and, probably, .jspx template + component .xml config file.
