ReRender a component from JS or Backend Bean

Hi, I've created a few custom components using the CDK. For the most part they are working correctly. However I have some client side javascript that gets executed and from there (or from backing bean) I'd like to be able to cause a rerender of my component.

Is there an easy way to do this?

Hi Patrick,

Use a4j:jsFunction component or you can develop JS API for your components that will trigger AJAX update for the related part of the page.
