1. Re: How to change the default host ip in jboss-6.0.0.20100911-M5
wdfink Dec 11, 2010 5:37 AM (in response to mani_rams)It's simple.
You should start with run.sh (or run.bat) and use '-b 192.168.2.2'.
In this case all configurations are bind to this IP instead of localhost (if you have nothing adjusted in you configuration).

mani_rams Dec 11, 2010 9:08 PM (in response to wdfink)thank you very much. it is working now.
i have one more doubt. in jboss 4.x.x if you mention the ip in server/default/deplyserver.xml ,. then it works.
like that is it possible here.

3. Re: How to change the default host ip in jboss-6.0.0.20100911-M5
wdfink Dec 12, 2010 5:58 AM (in response to mani_rams)Yes, but if you change deploy/jbossweb.sar/server.xml only the specific HTTP address is changed.
All other configurations bind to localhost.
You might add "-Djboss.bind.address=192.168.2.2" to the JVM opts of run.conf, I think it should work in the same way as -b does.
At least, it depends on what you want. But from my experience it is difficult to handle such specials, it is not very transparent and in case of version change you have to check all those changes.
