Is there a way to stop the fields from shrinking after an input has been made? The way that I am using rich:inplaceInput is causing an unpleasent UI display.

I would like the input fields to remain or at least have the fields remain the same length. I am assuming this is going to have something to do with CSS, but any help in the right direction  would be appreciated.
