RichFaces 4 M6 fails to deploy on Glassfish 3.1 RC2

    alex2011 Newbie

Started with M5 and it deployed fine.  Updated the POM for M6, cleaned, built, and tried to deploy the to Glassfish 3.1 RC2 and received the following error during the failed deployment: com.sun.faces.config.ConfigurationException: java.lang.Exception: No Function Found on type: org.richfaces.function.RichFunction with signature: java.lang.String toScript(java.lang.Object)

      Here is the stacktrace:

          Hi,

Looks like M5 classes are still there in your deployment - can you please check if that's so?

              Hi,

Apologies for posting in a lond dead discussion.

But I am also facing similar issue as below:

              com.sun.faces.config.ConfigurationException: java.lang.Exception: No Function Found on type: org.richfaces.function.RichFunction with signature: java.lang.String jQuery(java.lang.String)

I recently moved to 4.3.2 final from 4.1.0 and getting this error on my proj load.

I am a newbie to richfaces and really not sure on the solution given here!

              Please help

              Regards,

              Yash

My project is still in devlopment stage and I am the only one who is working on this.

I have this project in eclipse and have setup a tomcat 7 as the server for testing and  have added my project to this tomcat.

with this background, could you please tell me what exactly do you need. <sorry, i am very new to J2EE and Richfaces as well :S>

Unzip your war, and copy/paste a directory listing showing all files in that war.

Sorry, what I was looking for was a listing of the web-inf/lib folder, so we could see if you had any conflicting libraries in there.

                                haaaaan...

that was the culprit. Thr was a conflicting library in web-inf/lib <older version's>

Thanks a ton for pointing it out.
