ilya40umov Mar 4, 2011 7:17 PM (in response to basharf)1) page attribute should not help you. It's not mandatory.
2) What browser are you using? Does it work the same in different browsers?

18. rich:datascroller Help
ilya40umov Mar 5, 2011 2:30 AM (in response to basharf)No. It should work fine without any bean.
I guess you can try to do it like it's shown here:
http://livedemo.exadel.com/richfaces-demo/richfaces/dataTableScroller.jsf?c=dataTableScroller
with bean, but I still think that it's not necessary.
1) Please put rich:messages and a4j:log on the page
2) What is the scope of your bean with data for dataTable?
3) Please try to debug it in FIreBug. Does it send a request to server on each pagination click? What is the response from server? Etc.

21. rich:datascroller Help
ilya40umov Mar 5, 2011 4:31 AM (in response to basharf)You can try any of a4j components from live demo:
http://livedemo.exadel.com/richfaces-demo/richfaces/actionparam.jsf
Probably you should try to download RichFaces Photo Album Example from:
http://www.jboss.org/richfaces/download/stable.html
And check you configuration files with files from this application. May be you can even try to run this app first.

22. Re: rich:datascroller Help
basharf Mar 5, 2011 7:45 AM (in response to ilya40umov)No luck ...
but when debuged it in eclipse .
I added this
<rich:datascroller id="me" reRender="sc1" page="#{userTableBean.scrollerPage}" immediate="true" align="left" for="taskList" maxPages="5"/>
and When I debuged it I found that a request is made, I mean the getter method of the scroller is called...
Can any one see my code... and try it and tell me PLEASEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
thanks

25. rich:datascroller Help
ilya40umov Mar 5, 2011 12:11 PM (in response to basharf)I just noticed you wrote that you have:
richfaces-impl-3.3.3.Final.jar
richfaces-impl-jsf2-3.3.3.Final.jar
in yout project. But it should be only one richfaces-impl jar file. What JSF version are you using? You should choose RF impl based on JSF version.

29. rich:datascroller Help
ilya40umov Mar 5, 2011 4:08 PM (in response to basharf)Noone can be assured of this kind of mistakes. Sometimes you even need to create/configure something from scratch in order to solve a problem.
Good luck. =)
