1. Deploy to directory with context name and not project name
maxandersen Mar 11, 2011 10:21 AM (in response to kwutzke)hmm - you mean its context-root as specified in web.xml ?
Don't think thats doable...
The name of the war and an explicit context root doesn't have to match so why is it you want it ?
Is it causing problems somehow?

2. Deploy to directory with context name and not project name
kwutzke Mar 11, 2011 12:15 PM (in response to maxandersen)Not really, I just like Eclipse project names like "My Xyz Project" instead of "myxyzproject", but I don't like directory names with spaces on the server. Since this is just an aesthetic thing I will just rename the Eclipse project then.
Thanks

3. Deploy to directory with context name and not project name
maxandersen Mar 14, 2011 6:31 AM (in response to kwutzke)Karsten, well I don't agree with your asthetics , but I do see a point of not having this tight of a link between project name and deployment name - its a good default, but there should be a way to "decouple" it.
Open a jira and we'll look - if you notice another server adapter that somehow allows it let us know (I don't recall seeing it though)
