2. jboss service does not startup automatically
jaikiran Mar 14, 2011 3:33 AM (in response to honeychen03)You will have to go to Control Panel | Services and change the service to start automatically (by default I think it's manual). It's a one time activity. Once you have set it to automatic, the service will start on every restart of the system.

honeychen03 Mar 14, 2011 4:59 AM (in response to jaikiran)Oh my God, you are talking about common knowledge with me. Of course, I created the service in manual mode without the -m option.

jmihalich1 Sep 1, 2011 7:34 PM (in response to honeychen03)Just ran into this myself.
Yes, there is a -m option passed to the jbosssvc.exe app in the bin/service.bat the way it ships in jboss 6.0 and 6.1. Just remove the m from the list of options and it will install in automatic mode. Then there are no manual steps necessary.
Thanks,
Joe
