jboss service does not startup automatically

I am using JBoss 6.0.0.Final version. Now I used bin\service.at to create a windows service with automatic startup mode, but it does not startup aotumatically when I start windows.

Why I am asking this problem is that I used Java Service Wrapper but it worked without such problem.

My windows version is WIN7 ultimate.

Any thoughts?

If bin\service.bat is not mature enough, then tell me and I will turn back to use JavaServiceWrapper again..

You will have to go to Control Panel | Services and change the service to start automatically (by default I think it's manual). It's a one time activity. Once you have set it to automatic, the service will start on every restart of the system.

Oh my God, you are talking about common knowledge with me. Of course, I created the service in manual mode without the -m option.

   Just ran into this myself.

   Yes, there is a -m option passed to the jbosssvc.exe app in the bin/service.bat the way it ships in jboss 6.0 and 6.1. Just remove the m from the list of options and it will install in automatic mode. Then there are no manual steps necessary.
