<rich:extendedDataTable filter textbox

I want to add a button next to the filtet text box(which is below the column header) in one of the columns for the rich:extendedDataTable.

Is there any way to acheive this ?

Sure you can add for h:commandButton next to your rich:column. Make sure you have rendered condition to render for only 1st row or other row. So as it is not repetivie.

actually possible only if replace built-in filtering fields to external ones. Built-in inputs added by using "filterValueInput".. and table renderer expects that the facet contains only input.

Hmm.. doesn't look like a straight forward solution. Let me see if I can find any examples for building external filters for REDT.

Thanks for the reply Aman, this is what I am trying to acheive. Placing a button next to rich:column doesn't help. I could get it in the header row but not in the filter(tex boxes) row.
