I noticed on the reference documentation for Envers (3.6.3) that the configuration options for the Validity Audit Strategy are flagged as experimental.  We'd really like to use this strategy over the default strategy as it is a better fit for our requirements.  We are now at the point in the project where we need to decide which approach to run with.

Is it safe to assume that the current implementation of the validity strategy is now pretty stable and any further changes will be an evolution, change to the config mechanism, etc. or is it possible that it may be subject to a more radical overhaul?

Any info or thoughts are much appreciated.
