Today I had this problem, too.

OS W2k8 R2, JBoss 3.2.8 SP1
a workaround was to give the JBoss service an account which is not administrator. For example LocalService.
Then no blue screen happened anymore.

I now switched to "Local Service".

But we don't get a clean shutdown of the system, we get a blue screen.
And it does not occur always... I had it once a month.
