No, no, the problem with my solution is not the queue, the problem is the calls to jQuery inside the output panels... they will only be triggered if limitToList is not enabled! Now what can I do to replace them!
Well, the solution can be the following: trap events using listener at window.document - then there's no need to rebind handlers to newly created elements (I guess live plugin uses just the same principle: http://docs.jquery.com/Events/live).
As "focus" event does not bubble, you can try the following:
- For IE - use "onfocusin" event http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms536935(VS.85).aspx
- For W3C browsers - catch "focus" event in capturing phase http://www.w3.org/TR/DOM-Level-2-Events/events.html#Events-flow-capture
