          That application deploys fine for me without any errors (after I setup the security-domain and the datasource).

            Do you use jboss-as-web or the full version?

              Finally I found it: there was a file from the driver jar in the folder deployments: mysql-connector-java-5.1.15-bin.jar.failed.

              However, in the log appeared:

               

              Newly corrected services:

                  service jboss.jdbc-driver.mysql-connector-java-5_1_15-bin_jar (now available)

               

              So I thought this is not a problem.

               

              I deleted the .failed file and restarted the server and it works.
