THis is in our production environment having following configuration.

RAM: 12 GB, Jboss started with 4 GB.

CPU: 16 CPU

We are using Apache 2.2.16 as the frontending server with AJP connector (configured as 1500 MaxClient and JBOSS as 1500 max clients).

THere are 4 applications deployed  (Web service based and normal Struts based, NO EJB).

Observed that there is no change in response time however, constant high CPU utilization is a concern.

Any help would be of great help.
