I'm attempting to start JBoss 4.2.2 on a linux server. All is well until the start process hits the following lines:
11:55:56,730 DEBUG [AprLifecycleListener] Loaded Apache Tomcat Native library 1.1.16.
11:55:56,731 INFO [AprLifecycleListener] APR capabilities: IPv6 [true], sendfile [true], accept filters [false], random [true].
At that point, the startup hangs - just sits there. No errors elsewhere in the startup log, no other clues.
I've successfully restarted the process in the past and as far as I know, nothing's changed on the box since the last restart.
Any ideas / places I should look for issues?
Thanks.
Try running without IPv6 set, I have a vague recollection of some posts a while back regarding APR and IPv6 not getting along (but I can't find those posts...) Also, which JDK are you using? It seems that JDK 6 works better with IPv6.
