    Persistence store corruption possibilities

    oseymen

      Hi all,

I am new to HornetQ and would like to know whether we might have the persistence storage corrupted in a way that is not recoverable.

In the solution I am working on, I simply cannot afford to lose any messages. Relying on durable messages, broker acks, etc will prevent message loss in "normal conditions", however is it possible for the storage to get corrupted in edge cases (e.g. "power failure during write", etc)? And if it does is there a way to recover (replay) messages from some transactional log?

This may sound a little paranoid but I'd appreciate any info you guys can share.

      Cheers,

      Ozan
